1975

AL Manar Group is a family business based in Egypt. Al Manar was established in 1975 as an import company. Our initial focus was on importing & distributing Spare Parts, and that was the beginning of a long journey.

1988

In 1988 Al Manar started importing and distribute Bendix products. Bendix is a well-known respectable name in the world of car fluids and spare parts since 1924. The Bendix brand has been marked by a long list of major product contributions to the automotive, aviation, aerospace and transportation industries for nearly a century.

2000

The year 2000 marked the establishment of Al-Manar AMCF for manufacturing car fluid which now has a factory in the second industrial zone in 6th of October City. AMCF is specialized in manufacturing and bottling a range of premium automotive fluids including brake fluids, battery water, automatic transmission fluid, grease and hydraulic oil. With such a wide range, AMCF is in a state of constant growth in this sector in the local and global market.

2012

In 2012 Al Manar group established its trading and distribution arm under the name of AMTD. AMTD has a vast network of distributional vehicles offering comprehensive coverage and timely delivery to clients. AMTD is recognized for its unique logistical operations, which utilizes a huge fleet and a professional sales and distribution team, serving the automotive and the transportation industries.

2017

Al-Manar Group has started 2017 strongly by completing a contract with the French-American company Honeywell to use the Bendix trademark in Egypt and North Africa for brake, transmission, and hydraulic oils and grease products. Al Manar's factory in 6 October city has a licence from Honeywell to blend and fill brake fluid under its brand name, Bendix.

2018

In 2018 Al Manar group launched its own brand FORMA. The top-quality Forma range suitable for all types of vehicles and machines was the first of a series of new launches. FORMA family has as wide range of European materials and super quality that was able to succeed and excel in the Egyptian market.

2020

Al Manar signed an agreement with Total to exclusively distribute ELF branded lubricants in Egypt. The agreement allows Al Manar to distribute 20 lubricant products, including engine oils, gear oils, hydraulic oils, and other automotive fluids. Total Egypt has chosen Al-Manar to be the exclusive distributor of its products due to its significance presence in the distribution and marketing sector.

2022

This year witnessed the 6th October factory opening. Al-Manar Group has invested EGP 50m, including in value of assets and working capital, in its 6th of October City brake fluid factory. The factory which was established in accordance with the French specifications, has a licence from Honeywell for manufacturing inside Egypt.
